H is for Happy

This is a word that is both easy AND hard to define. It is easy because we all know what it means to be happy, right?! It is hard because we are all made happy by different things.

Being with my people makes me happy.
A nice big cookie makes me happy.
Playing with the tennis ball makes me happy.
Napping n a sunbeam makes me happy.

I find that, more often than not, I am happy. I wake up in the morning happy to see my people again and that sets the tone for my day. Maybe that is the key to happiness - start your day happy and all the rest will follow in kind.

What makes you happy?

H is for Helpful

Shetland Sheepdogs are herding dogs. We work with farmers and ranchers to move their sheep from one field to another. Being helpful, you see, is just a part of our nature.

How are you helpful? Let me know in the comments below.

G is for Guilty

Guilty is defined by Webster's as:

"being responsible for a wrongdoing."

Since I am a good dog, I do not have anything to be guilty about. Truman, being a puppy, is guilty of many things each and every day. He is guilty of chewing on the wood work. He is guilty of stealing cookies. He is guilty of jumping on the bed. He is guilty of knocking over the trash. Really, the list of his guilts is endless. But, he is young and we are all hoping he outgrows this guilty behavior.

I'll keep you posted on his progress!

Dill
